Great review. I agree with you about this album - this is actually the first of his that has really grabbed me by the collar and made me listen.

I love the big live bottom end sound captured on this recording. It really just powers along.
Its also great how Danny Vapid nails all the backup vocal parts perfectly.

Plus, the crowd singing along in parts of the songs makes you really feel like your in there with them.
Oh,I don't mind about the omission of "I can see clearly now". And I really don't know about that song being a fan favorite?

It's been sitting in my drafts since the album came out, and I wanted to get it out. Plus, there haven't been enough people talking about this record.

I was referred to you because I have a Ska question. I visited Jamaica recently and found a local music shop to explore new music. I bought 11 CD's and they were all burned. One of them has the title Ska Skatology with 29 songs. I can't find any information about it, don't have song titles and am no longer in Jamaica. Any idea who this band is? I like them.

awesome recap and review. that pretty much nailed it. like you said, 'shipping..' wasn't quite as corny as you would think. what was great was how ken stayed out for 'impression' and didn't know half the words.

YES! all the aspects of punk and indie rock that I need in my daily life are embodied in this EP. The reprise is one of those things that may not always be appropriate to listen to. but when it is, it is great.
